PCOS, Insulin Resistance and what you need to know

In pre-diabetic, insulin resistant conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), insulin receptors all over the body – including in the ovaries – are resistant to the turn of the insulin “key” that lets glucose into the “door” of the cell membrane.

Result: Glucose energy can’t get into the cell. The cell is tired. You are tired. Key functions like ovulation may become irregular or suboptimal. Your cycle chart becomes irregular. ⁠
