Ovaries need Glucose Energy

Like many other vital organs, our ovaries have insulin receptors on them. (Yes, your ovaries ought to be considered vital, like your brain, heart and lungs!!) ⁠

This is because your ovaries need lots of glucose energy to ovulate.

Insulin receptors bind to insulin, which is the “key” that lets glucose into the “door” of the cell membrane.⁠
